For spring break she did not roam
She did a few chores instead
watched Gilmore Girls and read
”Just one more week!” she pled.

A Teacher on Break: A Clerihew

Has so much at stake
There’s only one week to fill
So instead of chores, she chills!

  1. I love your poems that really capture the joys and challenges of that thing we call spring break that disappears as quickly as it appears.

  2. I love these poems, and I’m totally going to give this a go! As a math geek, I’ve got my eye on that fibonacci poem =)

  3. So happy to find this post hiding in Lainie’s post. I love how you use multiple poetic forms to convey your emotions about Spring Break. Our break is a month away, so I will be sure to savor it. Enjoy your weekend!
