This sounds so fun. I love that you repeat the “hot sun” in the first two timeframes and that it disappears in the game of waterproof Uno. I never knew there was such a thing. It makes me think you all finally got cool and the last verse confirms it! Thanks for sharing!
I love how each stanza builds. It reminded me of the transition from an idea, when you have a few random thoughts, to the execution, when suddenly there are tons of details to attend to.
