It’s Tuesday!
I don’t really have anything to say to you
But you’re here
So I guess you heard
It’s Tuesday
And I write on Tuesdays.
I didn’t have anywhere to go, or really any time
But I did take a walk
It’s a sunny day
It’s Tuesday
And it’s April and it feels like spring.
I don’t know any answers to your questions
But I am thinking
I am overthinking, I mean
It’s Tuesday
And I live way too deep in my head.
I didn’t really have anything to say to you
But you stopped by
And it’s the First Tuesday of April
It’s Tuesday!
And sometimes, sometimes I write on Tuesdays.
Today happened to be a gorgeous, sunny April day here where I live, too. I overthink, too, and often live way too deep in my head… and just look – voila! You wrote! And I can relate to all of it.
You wrote, yay! I love this, and I feel the same – I feel I have nothing to write today. You’ve turned that into such a beautiful piece.
I think sometimes on Tuesdays, I’ll “write” too 🙂
Ha! So cute and centered on that point—not much to say but I’m saying something.
It’s funny – I thought Tuesdays would be easier than the every day of March. But I found it not to be so today. I love how your turned your not much to say into such a lovely poem.
“But I am thinking / I am overthinking…And I live way too deep in my head” – this may be the story of my life. You gave voice to a LOT of what I’ve been thinking. I may also steal this format as an idea for me or my students…
