My van has taken us across the country,
west and also south.
It’s climbed the million dollar highway, driven through the Mojave dessert and of course, back to our house.
It helped me take my daughter away to school.
In the fall it will carry my son to college too.
With all it’s done for me, all the places we have gone…
You’d think I’d clean it more.

On a Thought 
Ha, my car was cleaned and detailed for my birthday and that has to be the first time in the car’s life. Thanks for sharing the many lives your van has lived and how many memories you’ve shared in its travels. Keep going, poet!!!!
